ASP.NET/MVC Developer Opportunity

VACANCY NOW TAKEN
I’m working on a major project at the moment for a government (not Defence) client. There are three of us on the team at the moment and we’re looking to add another developer. This would be a “work from your own office” assignment, good rates, and an exciting project which is likely to run for at least 6 months.

Key Skills:

ASP.NET, C#, MVC 5.1, Entity Framework 6, Bootstrap, jQuery etc
Experience of developing web applications using Microsoft technologies
Visual Studio 2013 Update 3 (you *must* have your own licenced version)
ASP.NET MVC with ‘Razor’ views to at least v3 (recent experience of v5 desirable)
Internet Explorer 9 or later, Firefox (latest version)
.NET 4, C#
Bootstrap 3
jQuery 2

Desirable:

HTML 5
CSS 3
Entity Framework 5 or later
Linq to SQL

Obviously experience with all latest versions of all technologies is unlikely as MS technologies evolve constantly, but we need someone who can hit the ground running as timespans are getting tight. In the first instance the work will entail developing MVC controllers and views and contributing to the refinement of the Business Logic Layers. Ideally we want someone who can commit pretty much full time to this project, but there could be some flexibility for people who have other commitments.

Security clearance would be an advantage, or at least the willingness to apply for it, which we can assist with. You must have been resident in the UK for five years to be eligible for this. Being based in London or having easy access would also be an advantage.

Anyone interested or who knows someone suitable please contact me and I can give you more details. No agencies please – we’re seeking direct contact from candidates only.
