The photograph shows this year’s IAP Prize presentation at Newport Business School, University of Wales. David Prior is receiving the prize from Mark Adams, FIAP. The prize consists of a cheque for £100 together with a one-year IAP membership subscription and a framed certificate confirming the award.
David has completed an honours degree in Games Development and Artificial Intelligence. He received the prize for his final-year project, which evaluated the potential uses of the available augmented-reality technologies and implemented a game ‘Table-top City’ employing some of them.
The IAP offers a prize of this type at several universities and welcomes approaches from others who would like to be included in the scheme. Details can be found here.
