Entering the profession

The Institution can advise generally on careers that are open to those with skills in systems analysis and programming, and how the IAP can help.

While the Institution can offer general advice on training courses and qualifications, it is in a position to recommend certain courses run by IAP Partner organizations. These are universities and private training colleges offering courses specifically designed for those wishing to establish a career in software development. All these courses provide points towards IAP membership; some give immediate entry as GradIAP.
