Warren Hughes, an IAP student member, has just completed an HND in IT. He transfers to the 3rd year Computing Science Degree at Staffordshire University this autumn. He’s looking for an eight-month work placement from January 2003. If you can help, please contact me (eo@iap.org.uk).

Applications of UML: We reported last month that the IEE is running two workshops on 23 and 24 October at Savoy Place, London. These are ‘Life Cycle Management Using the UML’ and ‘Requirements Modelling with UML’. Ed Maycock tells us that IEE member rates for these workshops will apply to IAP members.
