IAP PRIZE WINNER 2024

Celebrating Excellence in 2024.

Jack Eatock was awarded the prestigious IAP Prize for the Best Software Project 2024 at the University of Plymouth. The honor was bestowed upon him by Alastair Revell, Director General and Trustee at the IAP and, Professor Alexander Belton, Professor of Mathematics and Head of the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics, University of Plymouth.

A few words from Jack: “I have been tinkering with programming since I was thirteen, creating various simulations and games as a hobby. Moving forward I studied Computer Science (Games Development) at the University of Plymouth to hone my skills and gain professional experience in the hopes of securing a job in the games industry. I am very pleased to have been awarded the IAP prize for my final year project; Simple Eats. I have gone on to work at Barnstorm Games as a Junior Unity Developer, working on apps such as the Chase World Tour.”
