2017 – Kew Gardens – Improving Software for Society

Symposium-2017

The IAP’s Symposium “Improving Software for Society” was held again at Kew Gardens on the 7th of September in Cambridge Cottage a great venue for the event. We had members of various grades attending;  some non members and people flying in from Europe and the Middle East for the event.

Our four speakers, Sir Edmund Burton, Ian Bryant, Igor Schagaev and Paul Lynham gave great presentations on the failings in the industry and also what needs to be addressed. This was followed with time for discussion after the symposium over drinks on the terrace prior to lunch.

Following lunch there was time for those attending to explore Kew prior to making their way home.

Here are PDF’s of the slides shown for each speaker.
