The Employment Studies Research Unit at the University of the West of England is being funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and the Department for Education and Employment to investigate best practice in the recruitment of ‘non-traditional’ graduates. It will provide evidence of the business benefits of recruiting from a diverse range of graduates and institutions, along with identification of the obstacles that lie in the way of developing and implementing such strategies.
